Steal From Brainrots Guide

Hold E on a brainrot. Sprint to your base before the giant catches you. Place it on a platform. Watch the money roll in. Simple concept, but I got caught 20+ times before learning the escape routes and timing patterns.

After grinding to $500M and unlocking all six bases, the game's depth became clear. Steal From Brainrots from Witch Pot is a tycoon where you raid other bases, steal "Italian Brainrot" characters, and escape massive NPCs that chase you. Each brainrot generates passive income when placed in your base.

How The Game Works

You spawn in a Safe Zone lobby with your personal base. The gameplay loop:

  1. Enter the Field - Cross the start line to access bases
  2. Find a base - Six bases contain different brainrot rarities
  3. Steal a brainrot - Hold E to pick up a character
  4. Escape the giant - A massive NPC spawns and chases you
  5. Return to Safe Zone - Get back without getting caught
  6. Place and upgrade - Put brainrots on platforms to earn money

Get caught by a giant and you drop the brainrot. You don't lose placed brainrots, only the one you're carrying.

The Six Bases

Bases unlock with money. Each contains progressively rarer and more valuable brainrots:

Base Name Unlock Cost Brainrot Rarities Worth It?
Sammy's Base Free (Starter) Common, Uncommon Early only
Esok Sekolah's Base $50K Uncommon, Rare Yes
Pot Hotspot's Base $725K Rare, Epic Yes
Chillin Chilli's Base $10M Epic, Legendary Yes
Six Seven's Base $150M Legendary, Mythic Yes
Dragon Cannelloni's Base $2.5B Mythic, Secret, Godly Endgame

Unlock bases as soon as you can afford them. Higher-tier bases have slower giant NPCs, making steals easier. Dragon Cannelloni's Base is the hardest but contains Godly and Secret brainrots worth millions per placement.

Stealing Mechanics

The core mechanic is simple but has nuance:

How to Steal:

  1. Enter any base through the entrance
  2. Find a brainrot on a platform
  3. Hold E to pick it up (takes 2 seconds)
  4. A giant NPC immediately spawns
  5. Sprint back to the Safe Zone line

Giant NPC Behavior:

  • Appears the instant you grab a brainrot
  • Moves at fixed speed (varies by base)
  • Only chases you, ignores other players
  • Stops at the Safe Zone boundary
  • Disappears when you reach safety

I got greedy trying to steal two brainrots at once. You can only carry one at a time. Don't waste time experimenting with this.

Escape Routes

Each base has optimal escape paths:

General Strategy:

  • Memorize the shortest path to Safe Zone
  • Don't zigzag, run straight
  • Use Speed Coils from the Gear shop
  • Jump over obstacles, don't go around
  • Don't look back, trust your speed

Early Bases (Sammy, Esok): Giants are fast but bases are small. Sprint straight out the entrance. Takes 3-5 seconds max.

Mid Bases (Pot, Chillin): Giants slow down slightly. You have more time but bases are larger. Learn the layout.

Late Bases (Six Seven, Dragon): Giants are slowest but bases are massive. One wrong turn and you're caught. Memorize paths before stealing.

I spent 10 minutes just running empty routes through Dragon Cannelloni's Base. When I finally stole a Godly brainrot, I knew exactly where to go.

Base Management

Your personal base has limited platform slots. Quality over quantity:

Platform System:

  • Start with 8 slots
  • Upgrade base for more slots ($$ cost scales fast)
  • Each platform holds one brainrot
  • Brainrots generate money per tick
  • Collect by stepping on green platforms

Upgrade Brainrots: Spend money to boost individual brainrot income. The cost/benefit:

Upgrade Level Cost Multiplier Income Boost
Level 1 (base) Free 1x income
Level 2 2x cost 1.5x income
Level 3 5x cost 2x income
Level 4 10x cost 3x income
Level 5+ 20x+ cost 5x+ income

Only upgrade high-tier brainrots (Legendary+). Upgrading Commons wastes money. Replace them instead.

Rarity System

Brainrots come in seven tiers. Check the full brainrot list for every character.

Rarity Base Income Where to Find
Godly $500K+/tick Dragon Cannelloni (rare spawns)
Secret $250K+/tick Admin Abuse events
Mythic $100K+/tick Six Seven, Dragon Cannelloni
Legendary $50K+/tick Chillin Chilli, Six Seven
Epic $10K+/tick Pot Hotspot, Chillin Chilli
Rare $5K+/tick Esok Sekolah, Pot Hotspot
Uncommon $1K+/tick Sammy, Esok Sekolah
Common $100+/tick Sammy's Base

One Godly brainrot outearns 5,000 Commons. Stop stealing low-tier garbage after the first 10 minutes.

Trait Machine

The Trait Machine in the Safe Zone adds random enchantments to brainrots:

How It Works:

  1. Pick up a brainrot from your base
  2. Place it in the Trait Machine
  3. Pay $25M for one roll
  4. Get a random trait (permanent)

Known Traits:

  • Speedy - Increases your movement speed while holding this brainrot
  • Lucky - Chance for double money ticks
  • Rich - Higher base income
  • Protected - Giants move slower when chasing you with this brainrot

Traits stack. A Rich + Lucky Godly brainrot is the ultimate goal. I've rolled the machine 15+ times and got Speedy twice, Rich once. It's expensive RNG but worth it for endgame brainrots.

Gear Shop

Buy permanent items that stay in your inventory forever:

Essential Gears:

  • Lucky Coil ($2M) - 60% speed boost, works while carrying brainrots
  • Gravity Coil ($500K) - Jump higher, access upper floors
  • Grapple Hook ($1.5M) - Cover distances fast

Optional Gears:

  • Frying Pan ($750K) - Troll weapon, flings other players
  • Speed Coils (various) - Different speed tiers
  • Slaps (cosmetic) - Visual effects, no gameplay value

Prioritize Lucky Coil first. The 60% speed buff makes escaping giants trivial. Check the detailed Gears guide for all 11 items.

Admin Abuse Events

Every Saturday, developers Jay and Lucky Taru host "Admin Abuse" events:

What Happens:

  • Developers spawn special bases with OG and Secret tier brainrots
  • Mutation events trigger (Gold, Diamond variants)
  • Chaos effects across all servers
  • Free access to normally rare content

These events are the ONLY way to get certain Secret-tier brainrots. Missing Admin Abuse means missing exclusive content.

How to Participate:

  1. Join the Witch Pot Discord
  2. Get pinged when events start (usually Saturday afternoons UTC)
  3. Join any server during the event window
  4. Look for developer-spawned bases (marked by special effects)
  5. Steal quickly, everyone else is racing you

I grabbed two Secret brainrots in one Admin Abuse. Both now generate $300K/tick. Worth waking up early for.

Full breakdown in the Admin Abuse guide.

Early Game Strategy

Minutes 1-15:

  1. Steal anything from Sammy's Base
  2. Fill your 8 starting slots
  3. Save money, don't upgrade yet
  4. Reach $50K to unlock Esok Sekolah

Minutes 15-45:

  1. Unlock Esok Sekolah's Base
  2. Replace Commons with Rares
  3. Buy Gravity Coil for movement
  4. Grind to $725K

Minutes 45-120:

  1. Unlock Pot Hotspot's Base
  2. Target Epic tier brainrots only
  3. Save for Lucky Coil ($2M)
  4. Start upgrading your best Epics

Don't rush. Steady progression beats greedy gambling.

Mid Game Optimization

Once you hit $10M income:

  1. Slot Quality - Replace everything below Epic tier
  2. Trait Rolling - Start using the Trait Machine on Legendaries
  3. Base Expansion - Buy more platform slots ($$ scales)
  4. Route Mastery - Learn optimal paths through Chillin Chilli

Chillin Chilli's Base is where mid-game slows down. Legendary spawns are random. Be patient.

Late Game Goals

Endgame is about maxing out:

  • All Legendary+ base (no Epics or lower)
  • Multiple Secret-tier brainrots from Admin Abuse
  • Traits on all high-value brainrots
  • $500M+ passive income per minute
  • Dragon Cannelloni's Base unlocked ($2.5B)

The grind from $150M to $2.5B is real. No shortcuts besides Admin Abuse events.

PvP Mechanics

Other players can grief you:

Frying Pan Trolling: Players with Frying Pans can fling you while you're carrying a brainrot. If you're outside the Safe Zone, you drop it.

Counter Strategies:

  • Stay in Safe Zone until ready to run
  • Use Lucky Coil for 60% speed (hard to catch)
  • Don't steal during peak hours
  • Private servers avoid this entirely (Robux required)

I lost a Mythic brainrot to a frying pan troll. Learned my lesson. Speed is life.

Common Mistakes

Upgrading low-tier brainrots: Don't waste money on Commons and Uncommons. Replace them.

Not using Speed Coils: Movement speed is the #1 factor in successful steals.

Skipping Admin Abuse: These Saturday events are where Secrets spawn. Set a reminder.

Ignoring the Trait Machine: $25M feels expensive but Rich trait pays for itself in 10 minutes.

Rushing Dragon Cannelloni: Go there too early and you'll fail every steal. Max your gear first.

I've broken down every system:

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when a giant catches me?

You drop the brainrot you're carrying and respawn in the Safe Zone. Brainrots already placed in your base are safe. You don't lose money or progress.

Can I steal from other players' bases?

Yes, with Robux. Use Gravity Coil to jump into their base, pay Robux to steal their placed brainrots. Costs 25-100 Robux depending on rarity. Not worth it unless you're desperate for a specific brainrot.

How long does it take to unlock all bases?

30-50 hours of active play to reach $2.5B for Dragon Cannelloni. Admin Abuse events cut this by 20-30% if you grab Secrets.

Worth playing in 2026?

Yes. The game is actively updated, Admin Abuse events keep it fresh, and the developer responds to community feedback. Get in now before it gets more competitive.
