Mutations in My Fishing Brainrots are permanent multipliers applied to brainrots hatched during weather events. A mutated Legendary can outperform a normal Mythic. This guide covers all mutations, how to get them, and stacking strategies.

How Mutations Work
Weather events spawn randomly every 30 minutes (server time) and last 5 minutes. Any egg hatched during a weather event gets that mutation permanently.
The mutation stays on the brainrot forever. It survives rebirth and transfers through the Mutation Combiner.

Disco Mutation
Disco is the best mutation with 3x multiplier plus 50% faster fishing (effectively 4.5x earnings).
Disco weather only spawns during Admin Abuse events. It doesn't appear naturally. Check the game's Roblox page for Admin Abuse schedules.
Fishing Master Mutation
Fishing Master eggs spawn randomly on the conveyor with low chance. They're not tied to weather events. The 3x multiplier matches Disco but without the speed boost.
Variants
Variants are separate from mutations and stack with them:

Getting Mutations
When a weather event starts, an icon appears on screen. You have 5 minutes to hatch eggs.
The mutation applies when the brainrot hatches, not when you place the egg. Time your purchases so eggs hatch during the event.
Cheaper eggs hatch faster. Common eggs are more likely to hatch in time, but a mutated Legendary is worth waiting for if you can time it.
The Mutation Combiner
The Mutation Combiner machine merges two brainrots into one with both mutations.
How It Works
- Place two brainrots in the machine
- One brainrot is consumed (deleted)
- The surviving brainrot gets both mutations
The surviving brainrot keeps its rarity. Use this to transfer mutations from low-tier brainrots to high-tier ones.
Combiner Strategy
Stack mutations on your highest rarity brainrots. A triple-mutated Mythic is worth more than three single-mutated Mythics.
Example: You have a Disco Common and a Galaxy Rare. Put both in the Combiner with a Legendary. The Legendary survives with Disco + Galaxy mutations. The Common and Rare are gone.
Mutation Stacking Math
Mutations multiply together. Stacking multiple mutations creates large multipliers.
Single mutations:
- Disco: 3x
- Galaxy: 2.4x
- Radioactive: 2.1x
Stacked mutations:
- Disco + Galaxy: 3x × 2.4x = 7.2x
- Disco + Galaxy + Radioactive: 3x × 2.4x × 2.1x = 15.12x

A triple-mutated Legendary earns more than most normal Mythics.
Mutation Priority
If you can only catch one weather event, prioritize:
- Disco (3x + speed) - Admin Abuse only
- Fishing Master (3x) - Random spawn
- Galaxy (2.4x)
- Magmatic (2.4x)
- Radioactive (2.1x)
- Lightning (1.9x)
- Lower mutations (1.5-1.8x)
Any mutation is better than no mutation.
Admin Abuse Events
Admin Abuse events are scheduled. During these events:
- Disco weather spawns (exclusive to Admin Abuse)
- Other exclusive weather may spawn
- Codes often drop
- Chaos events occur
Check the game's Roblox description page for the schedule. Attending Admin Abuse for Disco mutations is one of the best ways to boost earnings.

- Always hatch during weather events when possible
- Save Disco mutations for Legendary+ brainrots
- Use the Combiner to transfer mutations from low-tier brainrots
- Don't delete mutated brainrots without checking their value
- Attend Admin Abuse events for Disco weather
