Quick Tips for New Players
Play with headphones. Animatronics are loud. You can hear them coming from rooms away. I cranked my volume to 80% and my survival rate doubled.
The mask works on most animatronics. Put it on BEFORE they see you. Once spotted, it's useless. Doesn't work on Freddy or Golden Freddy. See our animatronics guide for which counters work on each enemy.
Keep the power on. Freddy only activates when power fails. Find fuses immediately. Freddy with no power is a death sentence.
Charge the music box TV. The Puppet spawns if you neglect it. Once spawned, there's no counter. You just die.
