Skip Fisherman Island and Stingray Shores for money-making. The fish values are too low.
Go directly to Kohana Volcano. Talk to the Lava Fisherman NPC to get a free Lava Rod. This rod has 100kg weight capacity and catches volcanic fish worth 2-3x more than starter areas.
Don't buy bait yet. The free rod and volcanic fish are enough to grind your first 50K. Save every coin for the Steampunk Rod.
Hourly earnings: 5,000-10,000 coins
Mid Game (50K-1M Coins)
Once you have the Steampunk Rod (50K), buy Dark Matter Bait from the Bait Shop at Stingray Shores.
Dark Matter Bait costs 630K but provides:
- +160% luck
- +5% XP
- +10% shiny fish chance
Yes, it's expensive. Buy it anyway. The luck boost means you'll catch legendary fish consistently, and each one sells for 50K-200K coins.
Stay at Kohana Volcano. The volcanic legendaries sell extremely well, and you're already familiar with the spawn patterns.
Hourly earnings: 50,000-100,000 coins
Late Game (1M-10M Coins)
At 1M coins, you have two choices:
Option 1: Buy Astral Rod (1M) and continue at Kohana Option 2: Save for Angler Rod (8M) at Lost Isle
I recommend Option 2. The Astral Rod got nerfed, and the Angler Rod is significantly better. Keep grinding with Steampunk + Dark Matter until you hit 8M.
Once you have the Angler Rod, switch to Esoteric Depths. Pay the 400 coin entry fee. The fish here sell for the highest values in the game.
Upgrade to Aether Bait (3.7M) when you can afford it:
- +240% luck
- +20% mutation chance
- +20% shiny chance
Mutated fish sell for 3-5x more than regular versions. The Aether Bait pays for itself within a few hours.
Hourly earnings: 200,000-500,000 coins
Endgame (10M+ Coins)
With the Angler Rod, Aether Bait, and Leprechaun II enchant, you're ready for maximum efficiency.
Farm Esoteric Depths exclusively. Target mythic fish during server events. Use Luck Potions from codes to stack even more luck.
The Element Rod from Ancient Jungle pushes earnings even higher. Complete the Element Quest when you're ready for the grind.

Server Events Are Everything
Check the Blackboard on Fisherman Island before every session. Server events include:
Mythic Boost: Pop all your Luck Potions. Mythic fish sell for 500K-2M each.
Mutation Madness: Use Aether Bait. Mutated fish values are insane during this event.
Shiny Hour: Shiny fish sell for premium prices. Stack luck and fish aggressively.
Don't waste potions outside of events. Save them for Mythic Boost specifically.
