Fish It has 7+ islands, each with unique fish, different values, and specific unlock requirements. After grinding every island to completion, I mapped exactly where to fish at each stage. Some islands are money traps. Others make you rich fast.

Fisherman Island
Your spawn point. The Blackboard here shows active server events. Check it before every fishing session.
Fish value: Lowest in the game Best fish: None worth mentioning Time to spend here: 5 minutes max
Leave immediately after the tutorial. The fish here sell for almost nothing. Walk to Stingray Shores.
Stingray Shores
Your main hub for the first few hours. Joe's Rods shop is here, along with the Bait Shop and access to other areas.
Fish value: Low to medium Best fish: Stingray (rare), various uncommons Rods available: Luck Rod (350), Lucky Rod (2,500), and more
Grind here until you have 50,000 coins. Buy the Lucky Rod first (2,500), then save for Steampunk Rod (50,000). Don't buy intermediate rods.
The fish index for Stingray Shores is easy to complete. Do it for the completion rewards before moving on.
Kohana Volcano
The first island where money starts flowing. Fish here sell for 2-3x more than Stingray Shores.
Fish value: Medium to high Best fish: Magma fish variants, volcanic species Free reward: Lava Rod from the Lava Fisherman NPC
Talk to the Lava Fisherman immediately. The free Lava Rod has 100kg weight capacity and decent stats for a free item.
Grind Kohana until you hit 1,000,000 coins. The volcanic fish sell well, and you don't need expensive bait yet. This is where most players should spend their mid-game.
Lost Isle
Requires a boat to access. Buy one from the dock at Stingray Shores.
Fish value: High Best fish: Mythic species, legendary catches Shop: Angler Rod (8,000,000 coins)
Lost Isle is where the game opens up. Mythic fish spawn here regularly, and the Angler Rod from the shop is one of the best in the game.
Start using Dark Matter Bait (630K) here. The 160% luck boost pays for itself quickly with legendary catches.
The fish index includes some tricky spawns. Check the Blackboard for server events that boost specific fish types.
Esoteric Depths
The endgame farming area. Access costs 400 coins per trip via elevator.
Fish value: Highest in the game Best fish: Abyss Seahorse (Mythic), Magic Tang (Legendary), Enchanted Angelfish (Legendary) Special drops: Enchant Stones (1 in ~1,000 casts)
This is where you farm Enchant Stones. The altar is nearby, so you can enchant rods immediately after getting stones.
Use Aether Bait (3.7M) here. The mutation and shiny bonuses stack with the already-high rare fish rates.
The 400 coin entry fee scares off new players. Don't let it. One mythic catch pays for dozens of trips.
Ancient Jungle
Newest expansion area with the Element Quest.
Fish value: High Best fish: Jungle-exclusive species Quest reward: Element Rod (best rod in the game)
The Element Quest at the Underground Cellar is the main reason to come here. Completing it unlocks the Element Rod with 1111% luck.
The quest requires significant grinding. Bring your best rod, Aether Bait, and plenty of Luck Potions from codes.
Pirate Cove
Added in the Crystal Depths update. Features new quests and fish.
Fish value: High Best fish: Pirate-themed species Quest: Dead Skeleton quest (find 4 letters in chests)
The Dead Skeleton NPC in the maze area beneath Pirate Cove gives a quest to find letters hidden in chests. The chests spawn randomly, making this quest grindy.
Worth exploring for index completion and the new fish species.

- Esoteric Depths (farm Enchant Stones)
- Ancient Jungle (complete Element Quest)
- Pirate Cove (new content, index completion)
Don't skip Kohana Volcano. The free Lava Rod and high fish values make it essential for mid-game progression.
Server Events and Fish Spawns
Check the Blackboard on Fisherman Island before every session. Server events include:
Mythic Boost Increased mythic fish spawns
Mutation Madness Higher mutation rates
Shiny Hour Boosted shiny fish chances
Pop your Luck Potions and Aether Bait during these events. The boosted rates stack with your gear bonuses.
