Enchants permanently boost your rod's stats in Fish It. Leprechaun II (+50% luck) is the best enchant, but it took me 47 Enchant Stones to roll it. The enchant system is pure RNG, but you can stack the odds with Super Enchant Stones and smart farming.

Cursed I looks bad on paper, but it's S-tier for mutation farming. The -75% luck doesn't matter when you're hunting mutations, not rare fish.
How to Get Enchant Stones
Enchant Stones drop randomly while fishing. The drop rate is roughly 1 in 1,000 casts, but location matters.
Best farming spots for Enchant Stones:
- Esoteric Depths (highest drop rate)
- Tropical Grove (2-3x better than main hubs)
- Lost Isle underwater areas
I farmed 50+ stones in Esoteric Depths over a weekend. The 400 coin entry fee pays for itself with the stone drops and rare fish.
Enchant Stone Types
Regular Enchant Stone drops from fishing. Can roll any enchant with weighted odds. Most enchants have 7% chance, with weaker ones at higher rates.
Evolved Enchant Stone drops rarely or from quests. Better odds for mid-tier enchants.
Super Enchant Stone only rolls S-tier enchants. 20% chance each for Prismatic I, Empowered I, Leprechaun II, Cursed I, and Mutation Hunter II. Buy these with Robux or earn from special events.
If you're free-to-play, grind regular stones. If you want guaranteed good enchants, Super Stones are worth the investment.
Best Enchant Combos
For rare fish hunting Leprechaun II on your best rod. Stack with Aether Bait for maximum luck.
For mutation farming Cursed I + Aether Bait. The -75% luck doesn't hurt mutation rates, and the +75% mutation chance is massive.
For money grinding Empowered I for the balanced stats. The reel speed bonus saves time on every catch.
For secret fish Leprechaun II + Ghostfinn Rod + Aether Bait. You need maximum luck for the 1-in-millions odds.
How to Enchant Your Rod
- Get an Enchant Stone from fishing
- Go to the Enchant Altar in Esoteric Depths
- Pay 400 coins to apply the enchant
- Pray to RNG
The enchant you get is random. If you roll something bad, you can overwrite it with another stone. Enchants are permanent until replaced.
Should You Re-roll Good Enchants?
No. I wasted 20+ stones chasing Leprechaun II when I already had Leprechaun I. The +25% luck from Leprechaun I is good enough for most content.
Only re-roll if you have:
- A C-tier enchant like Lucky I
- Stormhunter I (only works during rain)
- An enchant that doesn't match your playstyle
Keep Empowered I, Leprechaun I, or Mutation Hunter I. They're not perfect, but they're solid.

Super Stones guarantee one of the five best enchants. Regular stones are a gamble.
Common Enchant Mistakes
Re-rolling too early Keep your first decent enchant. Leprechaun I or Empowered I are fine until you have stones to spare.
Enchanting cheap rods Don't waste stones on Luck Rod or Lucky Rod. Save them for Steampunk Rod or better.
Ignoring Cursed I It looks terrible, but it's the best mutation farming enchant. The luck penalty doesn't affect mutation rates.
Farming in the wrong spot Stingray Shores has terrible stone drop rates. Farm in Esoteric Depths or Tropical Grove.
