CashBlox.gg is a GPT (Get-Paid-To) site where you complete surveys, download apps, and watch videos to earn Robux. I tested it for 2 weeks and earned about 180 Robux total. It works, but the hourly rate is low. Expect 5-10 Robux per hour of active grinding.
The site covers Roblox's 30% marketplace tax on withdrawals, which is a nice touch. When you withdraw 100 Robux, you actually get 100 Robux in your account.
What Is CashBlox?
CashBlox is a rewards platform that partners with survey companies and advertisers. You complete tasks, earn points, and exchange those points for Robux or gift cards. It's similar to Swagbucks or InboxDollars, but focused on the Roblox audience.
The site launched in 2023 and has built a decent reputation. Trustpilot shows a 4.5+ rating with thousands of reviews. Most complaints involve survey disqualifications rather than withdrawal issues.
How CashBlox Works
You sign up with your Roblox username (no password required). The site verifies your account exists, then you can start earning.
Earning methods include:
- Surveys from partner companies (highest paying)
- App downloads and trials
- Video watching (lowest paying)
- Daily tasks and challenges
- Promo codes (occasional free points)
Points convert to Robux at roughly 100 points = 9 Robux. The minimum withdrawal is usually 10 Robux, which takes about an hour of work for new users.
My Testing Results
Over 2 weeks of casual use (about 1-2 hours daily), I earned 1,847 points. That converted to 166 Robux after withdrawals. I also used promo code NEW for 3 bonus Robux at signup.
Survey completion rate was rough. I started maybe 40 surveys and completed 12. The rest disqualified me partway through for not matching their demographic requirements. This is standard for GPT sites, but it's frustrating.
The "Timewall" click tasks were the most efficient. You click through pages and earn small amounts, but it's consistent. I earned about 8 Robux worth per day from these alone in 2-4 minutes.
App download offers paid well when they worked. Installing a game and reaching level 5 might pay 50-100 points. But some offers didn't credit properly, requiring support tickets.
Withdrawal Experience
Withdrawals were instant. I tested three separate withdrawals of 50, 50, and 66 Robux. All three appeared in my Roblox account within minutes.
CashBlox uses a gamepass system for withdrawals. They create a gamepass at your requested Robux amount, you purchase it with your earned points, and the Robux transfers to your account. The site covers the 30% Roblox tax, so you get the full amount.
The Hourly Rate Reality
The math is brutal. My 180 Robux took roughly 20 hours of work over 2 weeks. That's 9 Robux per hour.
At current Robux prices ($9.99 for 800 Robux), that's about $0.11 per hour of work. This is not a money-making opportunity. It's a way for kids without spending money to slowly accumulate small amounts of Robux.
If you have any way to earn real money, buying Robux directly is far more efficient. But for players who can't or won't spend money, CashBlox offers a legitimate (if slow) path to free Robux.
Promo Codes
CashBlox releases promo codes occasionally. As of my testing:
- NEW gives 3 Robux at signup
- QUICK25 gives 25 Shards (limited redemptions)
- SECRET25 gives 25 Shards (limited redemptions)
Check their Discord and social media for new codes. They typically drop during updates or milestones.
Security and Legitimacy
CashBlox doesn't require your Roblox password. The site only needs your username to verify your account exists and process withdrawals.
GridinSoft gave the site a low trust score (39/100), but this seems based on the GPT business model rather than actual security issues. User reports of successful withdrawals are consistent across Trustpilot, Reddit, and YouTube.
The site partners with legitimate offerwall companies like Lootably and AdGate. These are the same partners used by established GPT sites. Compare this to BloxDrop, which has more serious concerns around gambling and bot spam.
Who Should Use CashBlox
CashBlox makes sense for:
- Players who can't spend real money on Robux
- People with spare time and patience
- Anyone who enjoys survey completion
It doesn't make sense for:
- Anyone who values their time at more than $0.11/hour
- Players looking for quick Robux
- People who get frustrated by survey disqualifications
CashBlox vs BloxDrop
CashBlox and BloxDrop serve different purposes. CashBlox is a survey/offer site with no gambling. BloxDrop is primarily a gambling platform with some survey options.
CashBlox is safer because there's no gambling element. You trade time for guaranteed (small) rewards. BloxDrop's gambling means you can lose everything you deposit.
For younger players especially, CashBlox is the better choice. Slow earnings beat gambling losses.
Tips for Maximizing Earnings
After 2 weeks of testing, these strategies worked best:
- Do the Timewall click tasks daily. They're fast and consistent.
- Focus on app download offers over surveys. Higher completion rate.
- Check for new promo codes weekly on their Discord.
- Don't waste time on surveys that ask too many screening questions upfront.
- Use a separate email for offer signups to avoid spam in your main inbox.
If you want free stuff without the grind, game codes give instant rewards with zero effort.
Verdict: Mixed
CashBlox works. It's legitimate. You will get Robux if you put in the time.
But the hourly rate is terrible. You're trading hours of tedious work for small amounts of virtual currency. For most people, this isn't worth it.
If you're a kid with no money and lots of free time, CashBlox offers a real path to free Robux. Just understand what you're signing up for: grinding surveys for pennies worth of rewards.
I'm giving it a 6/10. It does what it promises, but the value proposition is weak for anyone who has alternatives.
