Break a Lucky Block Pickaxe Tier List

Disco Pickaxe has 246 power and costs 67 Robux. Diamond has 75 power for 250K cash. Those are the only two that matter for most players. The game has 23 pickaxes across 8 rarity tiers, but most are traps that waste your cash on the way to Diamond.

I've used every shop pickaxe across 5 rebirths. The power jumps between Gold and Diamond aren't worth the cash. Save your money and skip straight to Diamond.

Tier List Summary

Tier Pickaxes Verdict
S Disco, Diamond The only ones worth using long-term
A Gold, Iron Good stepping stones
B Stone Necessary first upgrade
D Wood Replace immediately

S-Tier Pickaxes

Disco Pickaxe

  • Power: 246
  • Cost: 67 Robux
  • Rarity: OP

The best pickaxe in the game. 246 power melts everything including Secret Blocks. If you're spending Robux, this is the only purchase that matters. Everything else is a waste.

With Disco, I can clear an entire section of the arena before Sammy completes one patrol. Secret Blocks that took 10+ seconds with Diamond take 3-4 seconds with Disco. The time savings compound into significantly more brainrots per hour.

Diamond Pickaxe

  • Power: 75
  • Cost: 250K cash
  • Rarity: Rare

The F2P endgame. 75 power handles Angel Blocks instantly and Block Gods in reasonable time. Secret Blocks are slow but doable.

Diamond is where most players should stop if they're not spending Robux. The jump from Gold (35) to Diamond (75) is worth the 200K price difference. The jump from Diamond to the next cash pickaxe isn't.

A-Tier Pickaxes

Gold Pickaxe

  • Power: 35
  • Cost: 50K cash
  • Rarity: Rare

The gateway to mid-game. Gold is the first pickaxe that makes Angel Blocks farmable. Before Gold, you're stuck on Normal Blocks.

Get Gold before your first rebirth. The 35 power lets you break 2-3 Angel Blocks per Sammy patrol cycle, which is enough to progress.

Iron Pickaxe

  • Power: 15
  • Cost: 10K cash
  • Rarity: Common

Solid early upgrade. The jump from Stone (5) to Iron (15) is 3x power for only 9K more cash. Iron lets you break Normal Blocks fast and start touching Angel Blocks.

Don't skip Iron. The 10K investment pays for itself quickly.

B-Tier Pickaxes

Stone Pickaxe

  • Power: 5
  • Cost: 1K cash
  • Rarity: Common

Your first upgrade from Wood. Stone is 5x better than Wood for only 1K cash. Buy it immediately.

Don't stay on Stone long. Farm enough for Iron (10K) and move on.

D-Tier Pickaxes

Wood Pickaxe

  • Power: 1
  • Cost: Free
  • Rarity: Common

Starting garbage. 1 power means Normal Blocks take forever and anything else is impossible. Replace Wood with Stone the moment you have 1K cash.

All 23 Pickaxes by Rarity

The game has 8 rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret, God, and OP.

Common (Shop)

Pickaxe Power Cost
Wood 1 Free
Stone 5 1K
Iron 15 10K

Rare (Shop)

Pickaxe Power Cost
Gold 35 50K
Diamond 75 250K

Epic and Above

Higher rarity pickaxes come from Robux purchases, special events, Admin Abuse drops, or trading. The Disco Pickaxe (246 power, 67 Robux) is the strongest commonly available option.

Some players have reported God-tier pickaxes costing 3,149 Robux with even higher power, but for most players Disco is the ceiling.

Block Breaking Speed Comparison

How long each pickaxe takes to break different blocks (approximate):

Pickaxe Normal Angel Block God Secret
Wood 5+ sec 20+ sec Never Never
Stone 3 sec 12 sec Never Never
Iron 1.5 sec 6 sec 15+ sec Never
Gold Instant 3 sec 8 sec 20+ sec
Diamond Instant Instant 4 sec 12 sec
Disco Instant Instant Instant 4 sec

"Never" means you'll die to Sammy before breaking the block, even with Invisibility Cloak. "Instant" means under 1 second.

The difference between Diamond and Disco on Secret Blocks is 12 seconds vs 4 seconds. That's 3x more Secret Blocks per hour with Disco.

Blocks Per Sammy Patrol

Your pickaxe power determines how many blocks you can break before retreating.

Pickaxe Blocks Per Cycle
Wood 1 Normal
Stone 2-3 Normal
Iron 4-5 Normal, 1 Angel
Gold 2-3 Angel
Diamond 4-5 Angel, 1-2 Block God
Disco 6+ Angel, 3-4 Block God, 1-2 Secret

More blocks = more brainrots = more income = faster progression. The compound effect is significant.

Buy Order by Rebirth

Pre-Rebirth 1

Stone (1K) → Iron (10K) → Gold (50K) → Rebirth

Don't push for Diamond before first rebirth. The 1.5x multiplier from rebirthing makes the grind to 250K faster.

Rebirth 1-2

Stone → Gold → Diamond → Rebirth

With the 1.5x-2x multipliers, you hit Diamond in under an hour of focused farming.

Rebirth 3+

Stone → Diamond (or Disco if spending Robux)

At this point, Diamond handles everything. Disco is luxury for faster farming.

Common Mistakes

Saving for Diamond before first rebirth. The grind from 50K to 250K takes forever at 1x multiplier. Rebirth at Gold, then push for Diamond.

Buying pickaxes between Gold and Diamond. The power jumps aren't worth the cash. I wasted 100K on intermediate pickaxes my first playthrough. Skip them.

Multiple Robux purchases. If you're spending Robux, only buy Disco. Everything else is a waste of money.

Not rebirthing with a good pickaxe. Buy the best pickaxe you can afford before rebirthing. Starting fresh with weak gear wastes time rebuilding.

My Progression Path

Rebirth 0: Wood → Stone → Iron → Gold → Rebirth (took ~3 hours) Rebirth 1: Stone → Gold → Diamond → Rebirth (took ~2 hours) Rebirth 2: Stone → Diamond → Rebirth (took ~1.5 hours) Rebirth 3+: Stone → Diamond (took ~45 min each)

Each rebirth gets faster because of the multipliers. By Rebirth 4, I was hitting Diamond in under an hour.

Is Disco Worth 67 Robux?

If you play Break a Lucky Block regularly, yes. The time savings are significant.

Disco breaks Secret Blocks in 4 seconds vs Diamond's 12 seconds. Over a week of play, that's hundreds of extra Secret Block breaks. More Secret Blocks = more Legendary/Mythic brainrots = faster progression.

If you're F2P or casual, Diamond is fine. You can complete all content with Diamond. Disco just makes it faster.
