Break a Lucky Block Guide

Break a Lucky Block guide from Wood Pickaxe to Rebirth 5. Sammy patterns, 30-second despawn timer, Admin Abuse farming. 50+ hours tested.

Break a Lucky Block Guide

Smash blocks, dodge Sammy, collect brainrots. I hit Rebirth 5 last week and the two things that would've saved me hours: brainrots despawn in 30 seconds (grab them immediately), and Admin Abuse on Sundays drops more Legendaries than a week of normal farming.

Most guides skip the despawn timer. I lost a Legendary on day two because of it.

How the Game Works

You spawn in a lobby with a Wood Pickaxe and a small base plot. The arena in the center has Lucky Blocks of different rarities. Sammy, a giant brainrot NPC, patrols the arena and kills you on contact.

Break blocks to spawn brainrots. Grab the brainrots and bring them back to your base. Place them on your plot and they generate cash per second passively, even when you're offline. Use that cash to buy better pickaxes and gears. Rebirth when you meet the requirements to get permanent multipliers.

The game has 90M+ visits because the loop is tight. You're always one good block away from a big upgrade.

The 30-Second Despawn Rule

When you break a block, a brainrot spawns on the ground. You have exactly 30 seconds to pick it up before it disappears forever.

This sounds obvious but it's the #1 mistake new players make. You break a Secret Block, see a Legendary spawn, get excited, try to break another block nearby, and by the time you turn around it's gone.

I lost a Pakrahmatmamat (one of the rarest brainrots) because I got greedy and tried to break a second block. That one hurt for days.

The rule: break one block, grab the brainrot, then decide if you want to push for another or retreat to base.

Controls

Action Key
Move WASD
Break Block Hold Left Click
Pick Up Brainrot Walk over it
Place Brainrot Click on base plot
Use Gear E
Lock Base L

Hold click on blocks instead of spam clicking. Your pickaxe has a damage rhythm and holding maintains consistent DPS. Spam clicking actually slows you down.

Block Types and Rarities

Each block type has different HP and drops different rarity brainrots.

Block Color HP Drops
Normal Gray Low Common brainrots
Angel White/Gold Medium Uncommon, Rare
Block God Red High Rare, Epic
Secret Black with wings Very High Epic, Legendary, Mythic

Normal Blocks are everywhere. Angel Blocks spawn frequently. Block Gods are uncommon. Secret Blocks are rare and everyone rushes them when they spawn.

The block you should farm depends on your pickaxe. If you can't break Block Gods before Sammy catches you, stick to Angel Blocks. Farming blocks you can't efficiently break is a waste of time.

Block Priority by Pickaxe

Pickaxe Farm These
Wood/Stone Normal only
Iron Normal, some Angel
Gold Angel primarily
Diamond Angel, Block God
Disco Everything including Secret

Brainrot Rarities and Income

Brainrots generate cash per second when placed on your base. Higher rarity = more income.

Rarity Income Range Examples
Common $1-50/sec Basic spawns
Uncommon $50-200/sec Angel Block drops
Rare $200-1K/sec Block God drops
Epic $1K-5K/sec Secret Block drops
Legendary $5K-25K/sec Rare Secret drops
Mythic $25K-100K/sec Admin Abuse spawns
Secret $100K+/sec Event exclusives

The income difference between Common and Legendary is massive. One Legendary brainrot can out-earn your entire base of Commons. This is why farming the right blocks matters.

Notable Brainrots

Some brainrots you'll hear about:

  • Pakrahmatmamat - Rare spawn, high income
  • La Vacca Saturno Saturnita - Admin Abuse exclusive
  • Tric Trac Baraboom - Available from Brainrot Trader
  • Sphino Bombardino - Required for Rebirth 1
  • Berber Patapim - Required for Rebirth 1
  • Tong Sahor - Required for Rebirth 2
  • Gloropto Drillo - Required for Rebirth 2

Pickaxe Progression

The game has 23 pickaxes across 8 rarity tiers. Most aren't worth buying.

Pickaxe Power Cost Worth It?
Wood 1 Free No, replace immediately
Stone 5 1K Yes, first upgrade
Iron 15 10K Yes, solid early
Gold 35 50K Yes, Angel Block farming
Diamond 75 250K Yes, best F2P option
Disco 246 67 Robux Yes, best overall

Skip everything between Gold and Diamond. The power jumps on intermediate pickaxes aren't worth the cash. Save for Diamond or buy Disco if you're spending Robux.

The Pickaxe Tier List covers all 23 pickaxes in detail.

Pickaxe Math

Your pickaxe power determines how many blocks you can break per Sammy patrol cycle. With Gold (35 power), I can break 2-3 Angel Blocks before retreating. With Diamond (75 power), I can break 4-5. With Disco (246 power), I can clear an entire section.

The difference compounds. More blocks = more brainrots = more income = faster progression.

All Gears

Gears give you abilities. You can only equip one at a time. Some are locked behind rebirth requirements.

Gear Effect Cost Rebirth Req
Speed Coil +50% movement speed 25K None
Gravity Coil Higher jumps, slower fall 25K None
Heart Balloon Float in the sky 50K None
Fusion Coil Speed + Gravity combined 75K Rebirth 2
Grapple Hook Quick directional movement 100K Rebirth 2
Tung Bat Knock brainrots from other players 150K Rebirth 3
Gold Slap Force players to drop brainrots 200K Rebirth 4
Diamond Slap Stronger knockback 300K Rebirth 4
Invisibility Cloak Sammy ignores you completely 500K Rebirth 5

Gear Strategy

Early game: Speed Coil. You need to escape Sammy and the 25K cost is reasonable.

After Rebirth 2: Fusion Coil. The combined speed and jump makes arena navigation much faster.

After Rebirth 5: Invisibility Cloak. This is broken. Sammy walks past you like you don't exist. You can farm at your own pace with zero pressure.

The PvP gears (Tung Bat, Gold Slap, Diamond Slap) are for stealing brainrots from other players. If someone is about to enter the Safe Zone with a Legendary, you can knock it out of their hands. Toxic but effective.

Sammy Mechanics

Sammy patrols the arena in predictable patterns. Understanding his behavior saves deaths.

He activates when you:

  • Start breaking a block
  • Pick up a brainrot
  • Stay in the arena too long

He speeds up when he spots you. His base speed is manageable but his chase speed is faster than your base movement. Without Speed Coil, you can't outrun him once he's locked on.

He can't enter the Safe Zone (your base area). If he's chasing you, just run home.

He resets position after killing someone. When another player dies, Sammy returns to his patrol. Use that window to grab blocks.

Sammy Tips

Public servers are better than private servers. In public servers, other players distract Sammy. In private servers, you're his only target.

Watch his patrol for a few seconds before entering the arena. Learn where he walks and time your entry.

Break blocks near the edge of the arena so you have a shorter escape route.

If you have Invisibility Cloak, none of this matters. He literally can't see you.

Rebirth System

Rebirthing resets your cash, pickaxes, gears, and placed brainrots. In exchange, you get permanent cash multipliers that apply to all future income.

Rebirth Multiplier Cash Req Brainrot Req
1 1.5x $1M Sphino Bombardino, Berber Patapim
2 2x $3M Tong Sahor, Gloropto Drillo
3 3x $5M The "67" Item
4 5x $8M Various High-Tier
5 11x $15M Ultimate Items

The multiplier difference is massive. At Rebirth 5 with 11x multiplier, a Common brainrot earning $50/sec becomes $550/sec. A Legendary earning $25K/sec becomes $275K/sec.

Rebirth Strategy

Don't wait around once you meet requirements. Rebirth immediately. The multiplier makes everything faster.

Brainrots in your inventory AND placed on your base both count toward requirements. You don't need to place them all.

Farm the specific block tier that drops your required brainrots. If you need an Epic for Rebirth 3, farm Block Gods, not Secret Blocks. The drop pool on Secret Blocks is diluted with Legendaries and Mythics.

Fusion Machine

The Fusion Machine lets you save brainrots through rebirth. Before rebirthing, put your best brainrots in the machine. After rebirth, they'll still be there.

I lost a God-tier brainrot on my first rebirth because I didn't know about this. The game doesn't explain it well. Use the Fusion Machine.

You can also combine brainrots in the Fusion Machine to potentially get higher rarity ones, but the main use is preservation through rebirth.

Alt Account Trick

Before rebirthing, have an alt account join your server and "steal" your best brainrots from your base. After you rebirth, steal them back from the alt.

This preserves high-tier brainrots without using Fusion Machine slots. The community figured this out and the devs haven't patched it. Whether you consider it an exploit is up to you.

Brainrot Trader

The Brainrot Trader NPC lets you exchange multiple common brainrots for one rarer brainrot. The trades rotate.

Example trade:

  • Give: Brr Brr Patapim + Garamararam + Bobrito Bandito + Capuccino Assassino
  • Get: Tric Trac Baraboom

The Trader shows income rates for the brainrots you can get. Some trades are worth it, some aren't. Do the math before trading.

I used the Trader to complete my Rebirth 2 requirements in half the time. Instead of farming for Tong Sahor directly, I traded common brainrots I had extras of.

Check the Trader daily. Trades rotate and good ones don't last.

Admin Abuse Events

Admin Abuse happens every Sunday at 7:00 PM UTC. The developers run special events with boosted spawns.

During Admin Abuse:

  • Secret Blocks spawn constantly
  • Server luck increases up to 50x
  • Rare brainrots like La Vacca Saturno Saturnita can spawn
  • Massive Lucky Blocks appear with Legendary/Mythic drops

I've gotten more Legendary brainrots from one Admin Abuse event than a week of normal farming. This is the best time to play if you can only play once a week.

Set a reminder. Missing Admin Abuse is like missing a major code drop in other games.

Base Management

Your base generates passive income from placed brainrots. Optimization matters.

Fill every slot. Empty slots earn nothing.

Replace low-tier brainrots when you get better ones. A base full of Rares earns more than a base with half Commons and half empty slots.

Lock your base by pressing L. The lock has a 60-second cooldown but prevents other players from stealing your brainrots. I lost a God-tier brainrot because I forgot to lock after placing it. Other players will steal your stuff.

Offline Income

Your brainrots generate cash even when you're offline. This is why high-rarity brainrots matter so much. A Legendary earning $25K/sec generates $2.16B per day passively.

Before logging off, make sure your base is full and locked.

Common Mistakes

Letting brainrots despawn. 30 seconds. Grab them immediately.

Forgetting to lock base. Press L after placing anything valuable.

Skipping Fusion Machine before rebirth. Your best brainrots disappear unless you fuse them.

Farming wrong block tiers. Match your farming to your rebirth requirements.

Missing Admin Abuse. Sundays 7 PM UTC. Mark it.

Buying intermediate pickaxes. Skip from Gold to Diamond. The middle options aren't worth it.

Spam clicking instead of holding. Hold click for consistent DPS.
